I'll be honest I'm usually pretty good about staying on top of maintenance but the Huracan doesn't get driven daily and I guess I just lost track of how many kilometers were on these pads because the other night I'm creeping into the underground parking in DIFC and there's this awful metal on metal sound that echoed off the concrete walls and I swear every valet guy in the vicinity turned to look at me like I'd just committed a crime, anyway I limped it home and started frantically googling what a set of carbon ceramic pads actually costs outside of the dealership network because I've heard the stories and I'm not trying to remortgage anything just to stop the car, a mate sent me www.brakepadreplacementdubai.ae/brands/lamborghini-brake-pad-replacement and it gave me a rough idea of what I should be paying for the Pagid pads and sensors which at least armed me with some numbers before I started making calls to the specialist shops in DIP and Al Quoz, I've got it booked in for Monday at a place that actually had the parts on the shelf and didn't make me feel like I was asking for a kidney donation so fingers crossed the rotors are still okay and I haven't done any real damage by driving it those last few kilometers with the pads basically gone, lesson learned I suppose.
